Carhartt Force Extremes Convertible Pants - Factory Seconds (For Men)

2nds. Carhartt's Force Extremes convertible pants are made with a lightweight, durable and quick-drying cotton-poly blend and a movement-friendly design, but the best part has to be the zip-off legs, which easily convert them from pants to shorts and back again.

Had a problem with shipping, but I was overall very satisfied with my order. Customer service representatives were very helpful and easy to contact.

Carhartt is all screwed up anymore. Said I would try Carhartt 1 more time because the sizing on pants and jeans is all screwed up. Ordered a 36" because a 38" falls off of me and I wear 36" in most other pants well a 36" is like a 34". No way no how getting them on. Done buying Carhartt pants.

I bought these as a gift for my son. I bought two pair. When he received them in the mail he texted me and said, "Mom, the pants are the bomb!" He had purchased other Carhartt pants for work and really liked them. The non-seconds version of these pants were kind of expensive so when we found seconds we decided to give them a try. He said the fact they were seconds did not effect how much he loved the pants

The fit was dead on, the material is heavier than most zip offs which is nice. Constructed well. They arent baggy like most zip offs are.

I looked at 10 other brands of convertible pants. They are all made with that thin nylon fabric that feels crinkly and cheap. The Carhartts, on the other hand, use a more substantial fabric. However like a lot of the others the shorts seam is on the knee so you can feel them when you walk. Should have been a little higher up.

I purchased these for my husband in his usual 36" waist size knowing that I would have to hem them. He felt that they were tight in his thighs (which is a common issue with biking gear for him). We had to return them...

The most important thing to note ... the waists are extremely small. I normally wear a 32 waist in Carhartts, the 34 is tight on me in the Extreme line. Same for the Extreme cargo pants.

That being said, I might the material, the cut, and the pockets. It is exactly what I needed for a pair of camp pants for backpacking.
