This is my first (and most likely only) saddle bag. It fits really nice and snug, while affording me some extra space for repair gear - tube, levers, multi-tool, waterproof cover for my rack, and a small towel for cleaning. It fits about as much as I expected, and I could probably stuff a granola bar in there too.

I missed the part of the description about this "expanding", or didn't really think too much about it when ordering. There is a zipper that you can unzip, which allows for pretty significant expansion. Much like a suitcase does. Super handy. Feels durable, although haven't tested it due to the weather.

Got this to expand the underseat storage capacity for long rides. Prior to this I had a smaller seat bag that held the bare essentials: tube, tire irons, multi tool and not much room for anything else. This seemed like a step up in terms of space and it was. I was able to add some additional items like a patch kit, tire pressure gauge, and still have room for the car keys. But that's about it. I haven't tried to add anything more and would need to use the expansion feature if I did. I suspect I would have been happier with the larger size given my original desire for more storage space. This seems like a well made piece of equipment and I have no complaints about construction or design.
