Just what I wanted for hikes and skiing. Less suitable for laptop and such, but my macbook and more fit.

I ordered this to try out as a day pack to carry in and use from base camp. I was highly surprised by the layout and options on this bag. There's a mesh helmet holder that zips into its own pocket at the bottom and clips in further up. 2 straps to clip in and cinch down the body but not so much excess they flap around. The tops of the elastic side pockets is a tad narrow but fits around a standard water bottle. The body of the side pockets are very spacious though.
There's a front pocket that has a single clip closure and is a spandex meshwith a stiffer rim. Love it as there's room to stuff items such as a coat in there.
The body of the bag unzips down each side well over 3/4 of the way down which provides a flap to open and have full access to the bag. Inside the flap is 2 wide mesh pockets with easy to grab zippers along with a roomy pocket on the front above the spandex sleeve.
The shoulder straps are padded and the internal frame is removable and reversible. Only downside is it took some force to get the frame back in.

What sold me to buy this pack was that it's 15L AND has waist pockets. Never did I imagine it would have many more options I'd love!
I'm 5'4 female and not petite and the bag sits well with all the curves of my back, shoulders and and hips.

Bought this to use as a ski patrol pack, comfortable and not bulky yet plenty of room for first aid gear, plenty of pockets.
