I liked many features about this pack, but will be returning it as a piece on the horizontal internal frame bows out and pokes me in the upper back.

I just got the pack and like many of its features i don't think it's going to work for me, but think I may have a defective item. The upper horizontal internal frame bows out and pokes me in the back. The frame is flexible, I've hung it up, hoping it will straighten out. I've contacted Thule- but no response. I wish I lived near a retailer so I could compare it to others. If others have experience wth this, I'd like to hear if it resolve or is indeed defective.

Excellently designed backpack. Feels substantial in the hand, but like a feather on the back, likely due to the attention to ergonomics. The textiles used feel like they'll last decades of use. And it looks really good too.

I'm 5'1" and ordered small. The frame and shoulder straps fit great but I found the hip belt a tiny bit too wide. But just a little bit. My hands used to get puffy after a long walk with ordinary backpacks but not much with this one. Also, this one could have a small packet inside for keys and other small items.

I was looking for a practical daypack for hiking without the unnecessary features that so many have these days (laptop sleeve, media pockets, etc.). This is perfect. Generous pocket for a hydration bladder. Comfortable hipbelt support. Breathable back mesh. Pockets with purpose. Love it!

This pack had all the features I wanted but didn't work. Like the mesh back that keeps the back cool, rain cover and support system. I tried both sizes. It's not the pack's fault. I've probably tried 15 packs and even REI couldn't fit me. I need good suspension to keep the weight on my hips. The packs that have this then upgrade the shoulder padding. I have narrow shoulders and the straps cut into my arms. If this pack fits you, it is a great buy. (so far the best I've found is the Vaude 18-24 sold on STP. It has other problems but the basics are better for a small person with narrow shoulders)
