I bought these shoes 2 weeks ago and I'm amazed!. Super comfortable, and waterproofed. I'm super happy with them.

Haven’t tested them in the snow yet but they fit well.

after a traumatic accident i was left with 1 plate, 3 screws and a permanent foot drop in my left foot . i use a cane and after a couple of painful falls last year it was time for a change .
my AFO brace will not fit in my winter boots, also needed some good mud boots with traction and ankle support .
this is my 2nd pair of la sportiva (1st thunder lll) . ordered boots last month to start the break in period for the fall and winter months .
i ordered the same size as my tennis shoe, perfect fit with tube socks . left foot is larger than right, put thicker insert in right boot, easy fix . for hikers i'd probably go up .5 for thicker socks .
sierra trading post was very helpful , i ordered 3 pair and returned 1 . no hassle, fast shipping and best deals .
hiking and ice are off limits for me, so i gave the boots 4 stars to be fair .

So far, the boots are holding up well. They provide good ankle support and are able to handle hours of trudging through the snow.
