I bought this as a gift for my son. The large fits well with room for a heavy layer. I chose it over other MH jackets for the sturdy fabric and think it will hold up to the rigors he put his stuff through. What a good buy from STP, THANKS!!!

This is a well-made winter coat, insulated to keep out the cold and yet very light.
I was impressed with the length of the sleeves and the back of the coat since I am over 6' 2".
If I was still skiing or snowboarding in Tahoe, I would be wearing this coat to the slopes.
The color is unique so I don't expect to see many around my town.

This coat is well made as all Mountain Hardware products I have purchased. Fit was right on target. I wore this coat, walking the dog on Christmas Eve (2017). Snow was coming down with wind gusts blowing through and temp at 25 degrees. This coat kept me nice and cozy with a flannel shirt as the only insulation. Below this weather level, layering would be a good idea.

    Highly recommend!

I fit medium on most brands (including other Mountain Hardwear) and absolutely swam inside this coat. The arms are also comically long (38-39 inches) and extremely baggy. This is going back.

That said if you have really long arme and like a baggy fit, the construction is good.
