Merrell Ridgepass Hiking Socks - Below the Ankle (For Women)

Closeouts. Off the beaten trail or on it, Merrell's Ridgepass hiking socks are practically a necessity for dirt-bound feet! The wicking, temperature-regulating fibers enhance comfort in the shoe, and the zoned cushioning means you'll have padding where you need it most (and less bulk overall).

I wore these socks on an 11 mile hike this last weekend. Even though it was 89 degrees out, my feet never felt hot or sweaty, I felt like they were very comfortably cushioned in all the right spots and even remarked "I am LOVING these new socks!" to my hiking partner. Of course, you can't go wrong with anything Merrell, they just make good quality, reliable products that you can count on. These socks are no different. They were a great purchase that I don't regret.

I bought these socks because I've bought Merrell socks before and have been pleased with them. I throw all my socks in the washer and dryer regardless of what directions say. These did not shrink. They have light padding and are comfortable for all-day use--not just during a workout. I practice yoga and am not a runner, but these would be great for runners due to the cushioning and stretch.

Until I stumbled upon socks like Merrell, I didn't realize what a difference a sock can make. I've bought a ton of anklets and below-the-ankle socklets for workout shoes. A lot of times, if I'm not leaving the house on a particular day, I've noticed these higher quality socks make a difference if you're wearing them all day long. I plan on ordering them for my niece who has back pain and is a runner. These might help ease some of her pain.
