Verified Buyer Reviewed by highpockets from MN on Tuesday, April 17, 2018Seems like a good shirt for summer in mosquito/tick country. Runs small though, my 10-yr old son normally wears a youth size L and the size 13 in this shirt was too small.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kaci from Idaho on Thursday, March 22, 2018I ordered the size 13 for my slim 15 year old son to try as he prefers clothes that are more form fitting. He typically wears kids L, 14, or fitted men’s XS. Unfortunately, this was too tight through the shoulders and a bit too short in the sleeves and hem length. Obviously, this is not the shirts fault as I took a gamble and ordered a size smaller than most would. At rest it looked excellent but if he needed to reach for anything it became obvious is was too small. For reference my son is 5’6” with a 35” chest and a 29” waist. I wish this shirt had fit (we were tempted to keep it anyway) because it was exactly what we were looking for and have failed to find. The quality is excellent and functionality is great as well. I wish they made one size larger.
Reviewed by Playground regulars from Wisconsin on Friday, March 16, 2018Definetely runs small. 5/6 was too small for my skinny 5 year old. But he liked the style enough that we exchanged for the size up which fits nicely (a slender fit)

Reviewed by Jen from Olympia on Wednesday, June 14, 2017I like this shirt overall (design, cut, color), but I bought it very quickly, just reading the title of the item. My daughter needs a shirt for camp that has long sleeves to keep the sun off. When I got this shirt it says that the fabric is infused with Permethrin to keep insects away. The insecticide is supposed to stay viable for 70 washings. Since I usually only use natural insect repellents such as essential oils, I looked up the safety of this insecticide for children and am not comfortable with my daughter wearing this.
Granted, I should have read the description more closely, but I also with STP had made it very clear that this children shirt contains an insecticide that affects the nervous system.
