The gloves kept my hands warm and dry for ~1 C temperature weather.
I like the elastic wrist band as it keep snow out and can easily be slip under my jacket's sleeves. Gloves with velcro wristband are more difficult to tuck under the sleeves.

Solid quality, looks great, true to size. We are using them simply to keep hands warm, with heavy duty activities I would fear for the leather.

Very nice gloves but the 8 was too small for my husband. Fit me fine.

This is my second time purchasing these gloves after losing my first pair. They performed amazingly during 3 ski seasons in Colorado even in weather much colder than what they are rated for.

The only downside is that the leather requires much more care and attention than synthetic gloves, but if you are willing to put the effort of keeping them waxed and clean you are rewarded with a pair of soft, durable, long lasting gloves.

I am not sure these are that much better than some insulated kinco gloves, except these do not need to be broken in and they fit a lot slimmer. If you need dexterity in your hands then these are a go to. They are not worth $150, but at STP prices, it was worth pulling the trigger for me. I work on the mountain so $25 kinco's on Amazon are my workhorse gloves. On my days off, I choose the Hestra's. They run tight, I measured 8.5 and went with a 9, but I could have used a 10.
