To start as a non-matriculating (non-degree seeking) student, please fill out and submit the non-degree registration form from the link below (attaching current nursing license, photo id, and unofficial transcripts in the same email). It may be submitted beginning March 1 for Summer and/or Fall semesters, and October 15 for Spring. https://www.umb.edu/registrar/forms We are obligated to our matriculated students to place them in courses that they need for completion of the program curriculum. Once that process is complete, we will know what space is available for non-matriculated students. Your correctly completed application will be placed in the order in which it was received. Non-degree students may take these courses (except NU 615). Students can be admitted without having completed all 4, but these will be taken first and in addition to the 12 or 21 credits for the FNP or AGNP. • NU614: Advanced Pathophysiology • NU634: Advanced Pharmacology • NU615: Advanced Health Assessment (65 clinical hours) (prerequisite is NU 614) • NU631: Role of the Advanced Practice Nurse If you are a licensed PNP or an ANP (or GNP), you will likely be eligible for the 12 credit program with about 300 hours of clinical immersion. If not, you will need the 21 credit program with about 600 hours of clinical immersion. Your individualized program plan will be determined by the Program Director after you have applied and paid your deposit.
