I cannot speak to this watch's longevity as I have only used it a week. Basically, it does its job without all the bells and whistles other watches have, which is a plus for me.
It is a chunky watch. I have a small wrist and it is definitely too big for me both in height and length. It is over 1/2 an inch from my wrist to the watch face and nearly two inches from one end to the other. The face is 40mm but then the brackets that hold the band carry on 7mm on each side of the face, so the length is about 55mm or 2 in. as I have said. The brackets are also not the usual metal pins but actually part of the plastic around the watch face which makes it bulky. I am hoping that this part if more durable than it looks.
The watch is easy to read and water resistant. The band is hefty and well made. The face and hands glow in the dark a bit if you are near light.
I will keep it as it does the job I need it to and the price was good, but I would probably not have bought it had I tried it on ahead of time.

This is a great watch, especially at this price point for a younger person learning analog time. Lacking a date display is the only reason I gave it four stars.

I got this for my husband (he picked it out) and it fit well and looked nice, but he had trouble operating the knob and setting it correctly. He wasn't comfortable with that and so I returned it.

I'm satisfied so far. I'm hoping this will withstand a few submerges into water and the abuse of hiking, working, and whatever. I imagine it will do just fine
