Verified Buyer Reviewed by Rafter from MT on Sunday, January 7, 2018I looked all over to find a pair of light winter waterproof gloves and finally found these.I use them to play with the dogs in the snow and they work great. They are warm (if you are active), resist water and have a great grip.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Truckee master of none from Truckee, California on Saturday, December 23, 2017So far so good. I’ve worn them a few times and they are working out well. My plan is to use them for skate skiing (used them once already), in the skin track (I know they will shine here) and for around town (also working out great). True to size.
Reviewed by frankie, foreign service from Wash DC/Vermont on Thursday, October 12, 2017I picked up my first pair of gloves integrated with Pittards Leather in 2015 and they are still going strong into the 2017 season and I expect they will last several more seasons with no problem.
The leather Pittards uses is simply some of the softest, most durable leather I have ever had.
These Marmot XT gloves are well made, using very high-quality materials, and stitching and I can't wait to ride down a few thousand feet wearing them!
I adore the Marmot Basic Work Glove and go through at least one pair every season, always wear holes in just the left-hand fingertips, but I literally fell, buck, cut and split ten+ cords of wood per season wearing them.
While I only just got these XT's they seem to be about as warm as their cousins the Marmot Basic Work Glove which keep me comfortable down to about 25 degrees if I have my heart rate up and consistently moving. I would not wear these for lighter activities or long downhill descents in temps lower than 35 but my hands get cold easily!
I have thick hands with average length fingers and usually wear a large in gloves but I see these gloves more like running, or climbing shoes where a tight fit is really important and the mediums are snug on me but with the Pittards leather they conformed to the shape of my hand in just a few hours of wear so they work a size down for me.
Great find for the price! Marmot and Pittards is a combo you can not go wrong with!
