Perfect bag with a pocket inside to put trinkets. Can coil the rope and not even have to worry about flanking it later. Snaps down to half the size for ease and is comfortable to wear, highly impressed.

i like how this rope bag compresses flat when not in use and pops up to hold ropes and gear safely. i'm finding other uses for it too. don't know how it will hold up to abrasion but so far i like it.

Bought it because of the great price. Plan to store rope and haul to the crag. Won't hike up the mountain with it unless it's a short hike due to it being bulky.

Cool rope bucket, perfect for sport or indoor climbing. I used it also as rope bucket while big wall soloing, it worked great! However I wouldn't reccomend it for that use, I bet it would wear down quickly -no complain, it's not its job!-. Mine is relatively new, so spring durability couldn't be tested, that's my concern about this item. Gear loops are useless if the bag is empty: under weight the spring closes! not a real problem, just useless. Secondly, if you have a long approach it is pretty unconfortable to carry. However I am overall satisfied!

    • Cons: Useless gear loops, Wears down

It is a perfect product for tree climbers too. I bought 3 of these for myself and 2 of my employees. We all converted over just by seeing the product out of the box. It is well built and looks like it will last some time...
