I ordered these too big for my terrier-sizes for these are confusing. An 18 lb dog needs about a 1.5 in I found out-that size was not available, so I didn't get to use them. When I tried them on her she hated them-of course she tried to shake them off-not sure if they would have worked, but she was freezing on our walks-couldn't go as far as I wanted because her paws hurt. May try another size? They seemed pretty sturdy.

Just received these today for my dog Mac, a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has very sensitive paws. We have gone through and returned a few pairs, but finally opted for RuffWear because that’s what everyone recommended. Luckily STP had an amazing price on these boots, and we are loving them so far. They have not been park tested yet - but I am hopeful that they will stay on during Zoomies!
They are meant to protect his paws from the snow - as we are in Michigan - so far he seems very comfortable in them and has plenty of room for his paws to breathe, but be secured. They are designed very well, and I love the velcro strip - that can be tightened a lot for extra/safe security. And I love the sock-like sleeve that will hopefully keep out a bit of snow.

    Thank you STP and RuffWear!
