I have purchased several pairs of these briefs over the years, and they have always been like they appear here - specifically, they are mid-waisted briefs. These ones are highhh waisted - they practically come to my belly button. Definitely not what I was looking for.

I bought these as a less expensive alternative to the ExOfficio briefs which are comfortable but not wearing as well as I would expect. I immediately noticed several differences in the cut: Terramar's crotch is wider (about an inch in the XL) and the fly is smaller and higher. Too soon to tell if these differences will be a nuisance. Guys: be aware of the difference in cut. Terramar's fabric has less texture than the ExOfficio brand. This may or may not matter. Time will tell my overall reaction.

67 5'11 165lbs and working out everyday in florida not in and air conditioned gym outside PT everyday, weight training ,ATV biking. My own Yard work , roofing , pluming, carpentry, home renovations. It 12 hours a day everyday and I sweat. This Terramar's High-Performance Essentials odor-control fabric improve my physical endurance. Why pay for name brands which charge 4 times what these cost. More words will not convince you Just buy them and you will never pay more and stop wearing cotton clothes.

Same materials and construction as boxer briefs in this line, but less coverage for the warmer weather, they wick well, dry quickly, and feel great.

This guy doesn't talk about his underwear....except that "Indian" stuff...the kind that keeps creeping up on you.

A previous review compared these to the ex officio briefs and stated that they are about the same quality for less money. My initial view is to concur however durability can only be determined through time. So I have only used these a few times I hope they are as durable as ex officio but only time will tell.

Bought these for my husband, whose comments are that they are breathable and comfy except they tend to ride up in back a bit--and he is quite thin.
