Carhartt Twill Midweight Work Jacket - Quilt Lined, Factory Seconds (For Men)

2nds. You won't find a better fabric for hard work than twill, and that's exactly what this midweight work jacket from Carhartt is made out of. It also boasts triple-stitched main seams for added strength, and quilt lining for comfort and warmth.

Very nice jacket. It is true to size, light weight and of good material.

The materials. etc are just what I wanted, but the sizing and/or cut is odd for a medium--- long, long sleeves and big in the chest so the jackets feels bulking. It is great, however, with a down vest underneath!

Loose fit for my size. I ordered a M and had to return for a S. I'm 5'10 168lbs. The material and overall feel of the jacket is very cheap. LIke something you would find in a knock-off store in Chinatown. I'll wash it a few times and since it's only for work, I don't really care but it being a Carhartt, I wasn't expecting it.

I have been looking for a nice jacket like this for a long time. Most places want twice what I paid for this for half the quality. Got a great deal it on barn burner. Med fits me like a glove. 5-11 & 160.

This jacket is the perfect weight for work. Seems pretty durable. This jacket is huge. Carhartt's are usually big anyway; but this is even bigger by at least a half size. Recommended!

I got a large jacket and the sleeves were way too long. I have purchased other Carhartt jackets from STP, all size large, but never had this problem. I normally wear a 34" shirt sleeve, but these sleeves extended beyond my finger tips. Had to send it back.

I have worn the Carhartt Detroit work jacket for many years. They be tough stuff. I gave the Carhartt twill jeans a try because the poly/cotton mix is a better choice than cotton if you work outdoors in wet conditions. I like the twill jeans enough to give this twill version of the Detroit jacket a go. The only serious drawback is the pocket design isn't the best choice for excluding water. Nonetheless, I'm expecting this jacket to be as great as the Twill pants. Unfortunately, the "seconds" jacket I was sent has a twist in the sleeve caused by mis-sewing the sleeve and I am currently waiting for STP to replace the jacket .... ahem! One thing to watch out for is Carhartt or STP is hawking a "washed twill" version of jeans that isn't the poly/cotton mix, so don't get horn-swaggled by those like I did. They are just cotton.

Ordered in a Medium and not only are the sleeves very long, but the cut is very baggy. It's cut as if you're expected to wear a thick sweater underneath, or you have a "natural" thick layer of girth. Certainly not a slim, fashionable jacket, which is to be expected with this brand. For working outdoors in the elements only, I think.

This is the best jacket I've ever owned. I've been looking for a jacket like this for a while. Its not too heavy and not too light. Great if you like to moderate your temperature by layering. Nothing worse than going from out side into a store and having to take off a big bulky jacket and cary it around because you start to over heat.

I don't care about any minor defects and it fits better than the one I paid $90 for.
