I purchased this 26" duffel to replace a conventional suitcase that has similar dimensions on paper. When it arrived this duffel looked smaller than the bag it was meant to replace and my first thought was that I should have gone for the 29" wheeled duffel instead. No worries, I packed the bag and was impressed with how efficiently it swallowed everything I need for a week or two

So I bought this bag for my husband and the 26” EC link for myself (same size but no expansion feature). The load warrior cost slightly more than than the Lync. The gear keeper is a very nice feature of this bag that the Lync doesn’t have.. There is one main pocket on the outside which is very deep and two inside. There is a pocket on the very top for sunglasses. It feels sturdier than the lync without weighing much more (a matter of ounces).

You have to pack this bag strategically. My husband was able to get two overstuffed pack it garment folders and two pairs of shoes. When the bag is upright, the contents fall to the bottom creating more space. In my same size Lync, I was able to get 2 large, 2 medium sized and one small packing cube as well as a pair of knee boots abd 2 other pairs of shoes as well as a pack it flat toiletry kit. However, I stacked the large packing cubes at first on top of each other and I couldn’t get the bag to close. Then I put them side by side, used the compression straps, and I was able to get everything in.

If I had it to do over again, I might get the 29” in both bags.

The Lync has an additional front pocket. It also has an additional back pocket where the backpack straps are housed. I took them out and was able to fit a bulky leather jacket. I also fit two packable jackets in the front pocket - which will also fit in the Loaf Warrior.

Eagle Creek products always deliver on quality and function. They have the lightest, strongest luggage made and back it with an unconditional lifetime warranty. The STP prices make these one of the best buys on line. I get them for gifts and everyone is amazed at the quality and end up buying more pieces for themselves.

After months of shopping, and ordering/returning a couple other name brand duffle bags, I finally ordered the right one! Leaving on a safari next month, the bag had to be light weight, hold enough clothes for 3 weeks, and be on wheels, since I'm in my 60's. Since it is not a carry-on, it also has to have enough structure and strength to withstand the cruelty of air travel! The bag is exactly as pictured and described. Sierra Trading Post made it affordable (especially since I'm not sure how much future use it will get) and it is truly light weight! Roomy interior, appears very well made, and overall PERFECT for my upcoming trip! I'll know more after I use it, but for now, it's exactly what I was looking for and trying to find.
