These shoes are some of the most comfortable I have ever owned.

This is my first pair of Scarpas and so far I'm pretty happy. I typically wear shoes in the 9-10 range and ordered these in 10s. They fig snugly at first but have stretched a bit after several wears and are quite comfortable. Not the lowest ride ever but they are very light and flexible and have held up well on a few trail runs so far. Can't yet speak to their long-term durability.

I bought these for my husband who normally takes months to pick out shoes. I saw these, liked them and ordered them. I really thought he wouldn't like them but he wears them all the time!

The first time I wore this shoe I ran 15 miles and climbed 4,000 feet. The shoe is very comfortable and light weight. There isn't much padding in the midsole which means that you can feel every rock on the trail. A more padded or stiffer insole will helps with this. The Vibram sole is outstanding. The rubber compound is very grippy and the pattern of the lugs make it grip exceptionally well on loose, dry terrain. For the price, Im very satisfied with this product.

I bought these along with a pair of Salewa Ultra Train trial running shoes---the Scarpa's were a little lighter but the Salewa's were more comfortable with my feet---I ordered both in a 9 1/2 which is a 1/2 size larger than what wear---the Salewa's fit perfect but the Scarpa's seemed a little short---if you are inclined to order these shoes i would suggest ordering a whole size larger---they seemed like great shoes but in the end the salewa's seemed to have better construction and fit on their side for me.

The Purpose of the shoe for me is hiking and lite trail running~
