In fairness, I may have purchased a size too small. I wear a ladies 6 and ordered a small shorts (because that's all that was left). There were fine around the waist but cut into my thighs in a way that was less than flattering. I still use them and their great for swimming/biking/running transitions.

These are great shorts but the elastic on the thighs is very tight. I'm an 8-10 pants but with an athletic, curvy shape. The mediums were squeezing my thighs. I'd order a large next time.

These were my first pair of tri shorts. I have only one other pair but this is my favorite. Like some have said there is not a lot of padding, however I find it more comfortable for having less (though I haven't gone on bike rides longer than 22 miles yet so that may change). I have a medium and have about a 37 inch hip measurement. Fits well, not too big in the waist and not too tight. They are comfortable while running too. Have not used while swimming.

Do not be fooled, these shorts run a size smaller than all my other pearl izumi cycling shorts and my other pearl izumi tri-shorts! It seems weird why they would be so much different but they are. Otherwise they seem great, good material, nice drawstring waist and the typical leg closures for tri-shorts. The chamois is really just a piece of fleece added here so it is very minimal. If you are looking for a bit more padding I found that the elite, the next step up by pearl izumi have just enough.

My first pair of tri shorts. Wore them today for a bike/run and they were great. Haven't used them for a swim yet, but with the drawstring, I think they'll be fine

Nice product but it does size at least a full size smaller than Pearlizumi bike shorts

Excellent quality, arrived quickly, but they run very small. I have several biking shorts from the same manufacturer in size small that fit perfectly. I ordered a size medium as I like to err on the larger size if ordering on line (because there's nothing worse than tight clothing) and both the shorts and top are VERY tight! As I continue to train for my triathalon, I am hoping to fit more comfortably into the outfit, but I'm not wearing them until that time comes!!

The shorts run a little small. The grippers on the leg are pretty tight and give me that sausage roll look, maybe I just have really thick legs? Also i think they shorts are slightly see through. Overall they perform well. the material is soft and comfortable.
