Very happy with these. No velcro around the wrist which means they take some effort to put on, but there's no velcro to scratch and get in the way.

I recently sustained an injury and acquired trekking poles so I can keep hiking. I found in my practice with the trekking poles - which I call "pole dancing" - that gloves for better grip might be useful. I ordered these lightweight mesh bike gloves for the purpose, and they are perfect. I use the adjustable Velcro wrist strap to attach one glove to each pole.

I bought these for outdoor yoga to protect my hands. I wear grippy little five fingers shoes on the foot end and these on the hands and it works great. The fabric is light, but not stretchy, so they hold firm and grippy where you place them and they are just thick enough on the palms to give me protection from sticks and rocks. Thumbs up!
