I wanted these for fishing - dawn and dusk as well as mid-day. Perfect. I'm an athletic 6'2" guy and finding glasses that are comfortable for all day is often hard to do. These fit the bill, give great coverage and the polarization is top notch for fishing. I'm surprised how well they work compared to my cheap pair. The cheap ones don't compare on any level.

I am stoked on these glasses. They aren't the darkest of shades, but I bought them as such. I like being able to wear my polorized early in the morning and late in the evening, when the bite is on. Although some reviewers claim these are too small, I find the contrary. They are actually quite wide temple to temple(5-1/2"), I wear an XL moto helmet. Go figure. Glass lens Smith's are the best in the game.

These are great. I have pruchased Smith sunglasses at STP for years, and I am always on the lookout for the Techlite Glass lenses in the brown or amber color. These are perfect lenses in my opinion for driving, skiing or fishing. These are definitely better for a large sized face, I wouldn't recommend them for smaller heads or women. They are a little wide and you may not like the look, but I buy glasses primarilly for their quality and clarity. This exceeds expectations on both acocunts.
    • Cons: Slightly wider than ideal
    • Pros: Nice wiehgt and balance

I ususally wear Serengeti. These are similar in fit to the S.Cascades (but even bigger). The lenses are more yellow than the Serengeti drivers lens, and not quite as dark. Great so far, we'll see how they handle the summer sun.
    • Best Uses: driving, Fishing, Flat light skiing
    • Cons: Could get a little darker
    • Pros: Cuts glare, Easy on eyes, Fits large round heads, Good coverage

Smith claims this model to be premium but I disagree. These are not worth the price; even at the incredible discounts Sierra provides. I was very unhappy with the quality of these glasses. Go with a different company.
    • Best Uses: Leave on the rack
    • Cons: Cheap Lenses, Fog up
    • Pros: Nice design
