Closeouts. Engineered to fill the gap between barefoot platforms and traditional cushioning, New Balance's WR20 Minimus running shoes connect the neutral runner with the ground and strengthen gait with an ultralight, flexible design and grippy Vibram® outsole.
Reviewed by apt from New Hampshire on Friday, August 30, 2013Granted, I've had these for just under two months so I can't speak to how well they hold up, but so far I've really enjoyed these running shoes. I've been wearing minimalist running footwear for a bit over 3 years, starting with Vibram Five Fingers (vff) and then moving to others (new balance and merrells) that were easier for me to get on and off.
These seemed a wee bit small when I first put them on, but I've been wearing them, without socks, for most of my runs (2-4+ miles, 3-4x/week), and they've felt great on my feet. I also wore them for my first -- mini-triathlon, mountain biking, trail running, and kayak paddling, -- and I thought they were great for that -- light weight, and where you see the white plus sign design on the soles, there is just a kind of mesh so the water could drain out somewhat when I got out of the river.
Reviewed by kipper the multi sport amateur from Toronto, Canada on Friday, July 26, 2013These fit well, super comfortable, breathable ... but although they are literally only 1.5 months old, the strips of fabric and toe cap are peeling and the base is seperating from the fabric upper. Sadly, not built to last.
Reviewed by kipper the multi sport amateur from Toronto, Canada on Friday, July 26, 2013Fit amazing. This is a new shoe but the decals and toe cap are literally wearing off...so I can't recommend these for their longevity but aesthetically they are nice.
