Verified Buyer Reviewed by A-Belle from Craig, Colorado on Tuesday, November 11, 2014I have very wide feet and huge calves. The double wide were great. the calf's are still a little tight. I will not be tucking my pants into them but I can zip them all the way up. I am hoping with time I will be able to stretch them out. I think that they will be great.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Susan from Otago on Wednesday, April 23, 2014These boots are a great look, are very comfy and fit well. BUT, whilst the label says they are made of leather they do not smell like leather, look like leather, feel like leather nor burn like leather (the real test I was told)- and as a result I am not happy. I want leather boots and I thought I had paid for leather boots and so I would really like verification please from Sierra that these boots are real leather. I am happy to change the rating if I get this guarantee that they are leather - vinyl is what it seems to be.
Reviewed by Mellj from West Texas on Sunday, November 24, 2013These boots were beautiful, but the 6.5 was too small, my toes were touching the end of the boot, so I had to return them
Reviewed by NJ Shopper from Hunterdon, NJ on Monday, November 18, 2013These boots are stylish and comfortable, and are ready for all winter can throw at them. The buckle and shirring around the calf is attractive, adding discreet interest. I'd been looking for extra-wide brown dress boots, and these fit the bill perfectly. The heel is elegant, yet stable. The secondary zipper at the top of the calf accommodates my wide calf, and need not be zipped. Take the advice in the description, and order at least 1/2 size larger than you normally would.
Reviewed by bizzee1 from Ohio on Sunday, November 17, 2013I cannot find anything negative about these boots! They are fashionable and the style is adaptable to skirts or slacks. The ruched leather on the calf creates a great deal of comfort, though they are form-fitting. The heel is just enough to give them a little style while maintaining walking ease. The leather is supple and has a coating which gives the boots waterproof quality. I would pay at least 3x as much for a boot of equal quality anywhere else! These will be worn often. As a side-note, I would recommend ordering UP a 1/2 size if you like to wear thick socks in the winter like I do.
Reviewed by anonymous from NYC on Tuesday, November 5, 2013Much MUCH too narrow, & probably not full length, either
Reviewed by Minnie the Singer from Herndon, Virginia on Sunday, November 3, 2013I originally bought these boots as a back-up, in case another black smooth leather pair did not work out.
I'm normally a size 6-1/2 M. I ordered 6-1/2 W in smooth black leather in these, so as to wear with a sock on top of tights or
hose. Socks make such a difference if I have a day of long walking between Metro stops or such, that it makes sense to plan for
the extra space.
Once I put these boots on, I could not bear to send them back. They are soooo comfortable. And waterproof (snow-proof) on top of it.
Hand it to the Canadians. They really know how to make a winter boot! I hope we see a lot more from this manufacturer. Thanks
Reviewed by Anonymous from Kansas on Sunday, November 3, 2013Comfortable leather boots. Great office dress accessory.
Reviewed by Cyber terrapin from DelMarVa Peninsula on Saturday, October 26, 2013This is my second pair of Blondo's. They are very comfortable and look great. The leather is superb. The heel is moderate and still stylish. The two zippers come in handy when tucking pants into the boots.
These boots rub my second toes which may be peculiar to my foot, as I have other shoes that do the same. They are too nice to send back, so I will apply bandaids or moleskin until they are broken in.
Feel true to size and length. You can't beat the price.
