This Princeton Tec light is great as a neck light or back-up light. Construction is simple and appears to be water proof. There is a single o-ring to seal the removable screw-on head (battery access and twist on/off). It is very bright. Just a great pocketable flashlight.

I have owned an Attitude flashlight for over 10 years. The Attitude is a relatively old model, from the days when LED flashlights were cutting edge. The light excels in many ways. But I think there are more versatile flashlights now that LED technology has advanced. The good points: The flashlight is sturdy. The batteries seem to last forever, seriously. The light is small and fits into pockets. The light is submersible. The switch is simple, just on and off, no annoying strobe function. The twist switch will not accidentally turn on while packed. The common AAA batteries are the same as those used in most headlamps. The light beam is even and wide. Princeton Tec offers a lifetime warranty. Now the bad points: The light is relatively dim. The light illuminates only the immediate area. The light beam is blue in color. The light beam does not penetrate light fog. My flashlight has not been especially durable. In summary: The light is comprised of three bluish dim LED bulbs. Together they make a nice wide beam for about 10 feet. The beam does not have distance. So it is only suited for well defined trails. It is not the type of light that will help you find the outhouse 75 feet away. The wide beam is excellent for illuminating the inside of a tent, getting a beer from the cooler, etc. It seems that most flashlights have now moved to designs using a single brighter whiter LED. This newer design creates a beam with more distance. I think a beam with distance is better for walking around. But an even wide beam is better at the campsite. As I mentioned, my Attitude flashlight is over 10 years old. It still functions but shows a little wear. I must completely tighten the twist switch to turn the light on. The lens cover is beginning to crack, just slightly.

Not very bright, but Princeton Tec makes rugged flashlights. This is great to toss in a suitcase - just the right size and weighs next to nothing.
