Have to wear padded briefs underneath for longer rides but keep me toasty on short rides where padding not necessary. Size 4 usually and small fit perfectly.

No padding but great under shorts. Kept me warm at 12000ft. elevation.

Fleece lined fabric is perfect for cooler weather, comfort designed for active wear. Like the wide band waist for comfort and ankle zipper for easy on/off. I will be wearing them for cycling. Only thing they don't have is chamois padding!

These tights are nice, functional, wind-resistant and well designed. Articulated knees mean that there is a seam about 3" above the knee that sort of curves toward the back to your hamstring and the seam just feels awkward while riding.. for me it was just a matter of getting used to.. but it does chafe a bit along those. The opening at the bottom is a little loose (on me), and I bought an S. They have a fleecy lining which is great for this time of the year in the east coast for the cold mornings but the mesh panels behind the knees and toward the bottom help cool off when you've worked up a heat. The only thing I hate about these is the waist-band. Don't know what IP was thinking when they designed it like the way it is. The waistband is deceptive in the photo, the ones i received have a 1/2" wide neon green jersey encased elastic-band that is actually pretty thick and not very stretchy so this digs in when you ride and rolls over annoyingly often. Its not a wide super-stretch panel inset waist-band that hugs .... so just something to be aware of. Also, the tights I received look nothing like these... I chose blackberry since that was the only available selection... but mine were actually black with a pretty large neon-green splice on the sides and the bottom toward the leg opening and oh there's no riding cushion sewn in... so I've not really used it for my long 30+ mile ride yet.

Nice tights. I didn't realize that the color blackberry meant purple. Why couldn't the description say purple?
