My third pair, but I waited to save $$. I should have used the website sooner. These boots are true to size & don't need breaking in. Great product at a great price.

First pair of hiking boots I've ever bought- I loved them. Lightweight and comfortable. Completely waterproof- great if you're hiking in muddy terrain. I didn't break them in before I went on my trip, and my heels did rub a bit in the back (no blisters though!) and at the very top of the shoe (where you tie them at the top). Overall great purchase- I will probably be using these for a lifetime.

These boots fit very well (probably because they were made in Romania rather than China). They are waterproof (Gore-Tex), and have vibram soles for sure-footed hiking. These boots also have a nice high toe box, unlike many boots she has tried. They are worth every penny!!

My last pair of Asolos lasted me about 4 years but I am rough on my shoes. I put over 350 miles on them last summer alone. I need boots that will allow my feet to breath while enduring hikes between 3 and 13 miles over rocks, through streams, and to great heights. I have just started wearing these boots but I think they will do the job. I have not crossed a stream in them yet but I did hike 5 miles up 2500 feet to the top of Angel Fire mountain without my feet complaining. While they are sturdy they are also light. I can't wait to see where they will take me the next couple of years.

Hiked up 7000 feet right out of the box. Did experience heel blisters but that's to be expected with a 45 lbs. pack. Ankle support is awesome.

My last pair of Asolo's lasted me about 14 years. They were finally getting tired, so I decided to upgrade and ordered this pair. They run a half size big (I usually wear an 8 and took a 7.5 in these). I took them out of the box and went up to NH to hike Franconia Ridge. 8 and a half hours later, my legs were sore but my feet felt absolutely fine. I can't imagine ever wearing a boot other than Asolo.

This is a great boot. I've only taken them on a couple hikes so far, but so good so far. I normally where a 9 hiking boot (I have a 9 Scarpa hiking boot too and they fit perfectly) and a 8.5 tennis shoe, so I ordered a 9 Asolo and they are about a half size too big. I would recommend ordering whatever size shoe you where for a tennis shoe. The ankle support is great, comfortable. Very waterproof. No complaints so far.

I bought these boots over a year ago. They felt a bit stiff while breaking in but the ankle support is unbeatable. I have worn these boots every day in all kinds of weather.....from dry, rocky hiking to knee deep snow to a wet and muddy calving barn/yard. I have washed the boots using a damp, stiff brush and warm water and they look brand new! I have a very high arch and relatively narrow feet, and these boots are perfect! I won't be changing brands any time soon!! ??

This is the second pair of Asolo boots I have purchased with Sierra Trading Post. This is a very durable, stable boot for rough hiking conditions here in the mountains of New Mexico. Love them!

I bought these boots because I needed lightweight, waterproof boots that are versatile enough to go from city sidewalks to country hiking trails. I'm very pleased with this purchase. They're comfortable, and roomy enough to wear over an extra pair of socks and still be able to wiggle my toes. Get them in your regular shoe size.
