Carhartt Ripstop Cell Phone Shorts - Factory Seconds (For Men)
2nds. Navigating jobsites with protruding objects is the specialty of Carhartt's ripstop cell phone shorts. Their 9.25 oz. cotton ripstop fabric resists rips, snags and tears, and a gusseted crotch helps make movement easier.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Trey H from ohio on Tuesday, August 9, 2016Nice work shorts. Heavy duty fabric. It helps the wash them a couple of times to knock down the hard edges.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Millertyme from North Carolina on Monday, June 27, 2016The shorts are true Carhartt workmanship, with the exception that the material is lightweight--- perfect for hot summers. The pockets are deep with enough space to store everything you need for a day away from the house.
Reviewed by DIYfam from Newtown Square, PA on Thursday, June 2, 2016My husband is always a 38 in Carhartt. He wears their pants as khakis to work in the office every day. These shorts are a bit tight on him. He has ex-hockey-player big legs so he never gets any slim fit design, always relaxed. I don't know if these shorts have a slimmer leg or what but he could barely get his hands in the pockets they were so tight. He is hoping they will loosen up a bit as he wears them and with washings. This has been true of all the Carhartt pants he has. These shorts are 100% cotton too, so the should help them stretch out, if possible.
Also, the cell phone pocket is not really designed for a man who sits. It is located basically behind the left knee, so if you sit, crush goes your cell phone. I guess the pocket was intended for people on their feet all day?
All in all a good product, just wish the legs were a little roomier.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by hacklewrap01 from Ozarks on Friday, May 6, 2016Cut with a 5-pocket kind of fit, made of lighter but still really tough fabric. Much better than anything with slash or on-seam pockets; these
are shorts for guys used to wearing real pants. The cargo-style shorts have got to be the worst possible design, for men who actually work
on the world around them. These are much better, but still fairly lightweight and cooling. As the season warms, I'll wear them, often.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by charliemakita from North Carolina on Monday, March 28, 2016Great shorts; don't have a hammer loop, but do have a generous phone pocket.
Long inseam, so I had 2.5" cut off and hemmed so that they would hit me above the knee. Can't stand long shorts.
Only reason I didn't give them five stars is, they could have put another utility pocket on the side opposite the phone.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Biz Casual in NE from Lincoln NE on Tuesday, September 8, 2015I've ordered other heavier Carhartt shorts for everyday wear and these were a surprisingly lighter and more comfortable. They're still very durable but the ripstop fabric is much nicer than their duck material. The pockets are a little snug at the opening but that's all the better for security. I love the cell phone pocket on the right side. True to size so I'll order more.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by rob from durango, co on Tuesday, August 4, 2015I have a total of five pairs of these shorts in different colors. They wear like iron, are comfortable, and look good enough to wear for my work (which, admittedly, has a pretty relaxed dress code). The inseam is not so long that they rub behind my knees like some shorts do these days. All-in-all a big win!
