Awesome daypack for a day at the beach or park or that occasional hook-up requiring a change of clothes and tooth brush with a girl you don't quite know well enough yet to use hers...

We used this on a family vacation to carry items for day trips. It is the perfect size to carry what we needed. My husband was the one wearing it and said it was very comfortable.

I have a longboard and I would love to have a bag that was able to carry it when I am not out riding it. This was designed for a skateboard but it was still able to hold my 40" board once I securely strapped it in. I, unfortunately, did not keep this bag because it did not fit me very well. I am sure it is a 'unisex" size but as a 5'4" 120 lbs female, I probably do not fit within the target audience measurements. I wish the straps felt a little nicer; they were a little stiff. Maybe with lots of love and use they would break in over time but they pale in comparison to other comfy straps I have felt. I bought this with the intent of having the perfect day pack that could do it all- hold my board, a beer or snack and a space for my laptop....I will have to continue my search elsewhere for now.

Made tough, I can load it up without worrying that it may rip

This is an amazing backpack. Why? It has some great urban features that I was looking for:
    - Padded pocket for 15" laptop
    - Comfortable and contour fit
    - 2 bottle holders
    - Insulated cooler compartment (keeps lunch cold)
    - Lined phone pocket and organizer

The 2 outside straps can hold skateboard, skis, jackets, etc. This medium size pack has it all!

I ordered this model to supplement another larger DaKine bag that I don't need regularly. Like all DaKine models construction is first-rate and the bag is well-designed. The laptop sleeve is a "half zip" down one side and easily accessible, a big improvement over the larger model which required flippng the shoulder straps forward to get into the computer compartment. The three smaller pockets on the front provide an assortment of storage options for pens, pads, chargers, etc., and the smallest top pocket is great for sunglasses or wallet. Overall, a great bag that can easily hold laptop, supplies and a good handful of work files.

This is a backpack for a person that uses a skateboard. It was my error in not looking at it closer. There are not many different compartments in the back pack as I have found with other Dakine backpacks. It is a 5 star for quality for sure, but not a 5 star for versatility. The part where you would slide a laptop into is really only for a laptop. It is a thin space designed specifically for a laptop. There are also Velcro strips on the top and bottom where you can put a skateboard or a coat. I use backpacks for travel, and family trips. I need larger spaces and more spaces. So it went back and I ordered a different Dakine. They made fantastic quality backpacks and Sierra sells them for an exceptionally low price! Kudos to STP once again!

Nice fabric and features. Water bottle pockets are large enough and secure. It has a laptop sleeve + main center compartment + two organizer pockets on front. I needed one more mid size compartment for laptop cords, etc, so I returned it. Otherwise a great pack.
