Fantastic jacket. Soft, lightweight for packing. Seems to run a little big but I plan to layer a fleece under when needed.

Columbia makes great, high quality clothing. This jacket is very light-weight and comfortable. The fit is fitted, not boxy so it is very flattering. I does make the fit a little tighter, but nothing I would have sized up for (I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs and bought the S). The neck is pretty high, but folds down nicely when it is unzipped. Haven't had the chance to see how it performs in really cold weather, but the Omni-Heat products are very effective. The royal blue is a great color!

This jacket does have substance and warmth, even though it is fashionably slenderizing. I didn't think it would keep me warm, but it did in thirty degree weather. The lining is silver Omni-Heat. Protection from wind and appears like it would protect from light rain. I wish it did have a hood and don't care for the hand things, but I knew this when I ordered it. The hand things aren't an issue as they tuck nicely into the jacket sleeves. Also, the pockets are lined with that awful scratchy fabric that clashes with rough dry hands. I was surprised that Columbia chose that fabric as Columbia sets the standard so high and have come to expect more. Otherwise awesome jacket! The jacket fits as if it was custom made just for me! I got the light grape in med. 6-8. I'm 127 lbs. 33-29-37. Nice and roomy in the shoulders which is a concern for me at times. Also, I can comfortably wear a couple of thinner long sleeve layers underneath. The length covers my hips a bit more than the model. The jacket dimensions are: 40" under arms chest, 36" waist, 42" sweep, shoulder to shoulder seams 16.5" and length from seam 25" not incl. collar. Hope this helps!

I so want this jacket, however I needed a Large and it wasn't available. I usually wear a Medium, but this was very fitted with just a T-shirt under it. For winter this wouldn't work.
FYI, I am 5'6 and 148 lbs and busty.

I already owned the longer mighty lite coat and needed a shorter version for running and hiking. When I saw this on sale, I bought it immediately! It is really, really light, but I know from other omni-heat lined Columbia products that it keeps you plenty warm. I look forward to using it often for my winter runs! I am about 115 lbs and typically wear a S shirt size. This fits true to size.

Lighweight but warm. Great on powder days when I get hot! Colors are vibrant, love the teal.

Beware again of Columbia sizing issues! This is barely a L though I ordered an XL. Stuffed sausage look wasn't flattering. Sent it back.

This is my second of these jackets and I just love them! They are lightweight, not bulky, and very warm. The fit is flattering and true to size. I am 5'2" 113 lbs and wear a size small, with room for a sweater underneath. These are thin enough to also wear as a middle layer under a coat. The color is lovely and they wash quite well. Highly recommend!

Bought this for my teenager. Great fit. She really likes it. We haven't tried it for warmth yet, but it looks promising.
