Marmot Guides Down Jacket - 700 Fill Power (For Women)
Closeouts. The 700 fill power down inside Marmot's Highland down jacket is exceptionally resistant to clumping and loft loss, thanks to Down Defender -- a special treatment that preserves the down through years of wear.

Reviewed by Susi Snowstormer from Cascade Mountains, WA on Monday, May 29, 2017I've been a mountain sports enthusiast for almost 50 years and have worn a lot of down jackets. This one is my new favorite. It's light, simple, fits well, washes well, feels fabulous (silky), and the quality of the down is excellent (plus it's water resistant down so it stays fluffy in damp weather). I'd buy it again in a flash, but the one I have looks like it'll last a long time, so there's no need. However, I did scout around to see if it's available in any colors that appeal to me (mine's black), but couldn't find any in my size w/color I like.
The design is EXACTLY perfect. Just the details you want and need, and no extraneous doo-dads. The inside pocket is great. The zippers work perfectly. I love the simplicity of it. A dream come true. Hope they don't discontinue it!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by G the VTer from Vermont on Monday, January 23, 2017I was hoping the first one of these that popped a hole in the seam right away was just a fluke. No, it's the jacket. I bought my boyfriend the "men's" version. He only wore it for less than a few hours total, and feathers are flying out everywhere.
I hope I get a quick refund from STP next time I can take the 1 1/2 hour (each way) drive! I need a jacket. Just, not this one.
Garbage. A total waste of time and money and I'm freezing without a jacket ??
Verified Buyer Reviewed by G the VTer from Vermont on Monday, January 23, 2017My boyfriend and I both just bought similar Marmot jackets and BOTH have had to be returned. The material is so cheap, the feathers poke holes in the jacket.
The first one we ordered was for me, I was hoping it was just a defective piece, so I returned it for the same jacket. In the meantime, I ordered my boyfriend this jacket, and it was all feathers in less than a few days with very little wear. Just to the car and back.
I now have to go get a refund for my jacket because I KNOW it is defective. This has been a long and difficult ride. I need a jacket. It's January in Vermont!
STP has excellent customer service, but these Marmot jackets are so cheaply made and the return process has been a genuine headache. I hope they refund my money right away so I can get something to replace it all in one long trip to Burlington.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Connie the hiker from Virginia on Saturday, December 31, 2016This jacket is well made and I'm sure it will last a long time. Although it is very lightweight, it is very warm.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jerry G from Pennsylvania on Friday, December 30, 2016I ordered this coat for my daughter in Colorado, very cold there. I have the male version of the exact same coat, I have loved it for the past year. Was not sure if she would like her dad's pick, but to my surprise she said she loved the coat very much. I will also say that for me it's one of the warmest coats I have ever owned.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by S. Cookenour from NE Tennessee on Monday, December 26, 2016Standard great Marmot style and quality. Hook-and-loop and elastic cuffs, correct fit and size, soft collar, sturdy zippered front, one interior and two exterior pockets that all zip closed. It has a 700 fill which should be fine for Northeast TN winters. I did order a size larger than normal per my wife likes layering and it should work well for that purpose.
Sierra's customer service, website, and prices were excellent and I plan on shopping with them again.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outside Mama from Upstate NY on Monday, November 28, 2016I have been wearing this jacket for week and it has been wonderful. It is light and warm - just what I wanted. It fits perfectly, and doesn't look overly puffy (so I don't look like a marshmallow). I am 5'8", around 145 and the medium is great. I also got the pewter color which I really like. I highly recommend. And Sierra Trading Post was fast and easy, and the sale price was amazing. Thank you!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mkd301 from Riverside, IL on Tuesday, November 8, 2016got this coat for my 12 year old daughter in black - got a size small and she is about 5'4" and 115 lbs; coat is great and she is very happy with it; she wanted the higher fill power, but this is nice and fluffy.
