I bought this for Iceland, but not sure it is going to be warm enough. The fit is great, I bought a medium ( I typically wear a size 8, I am 5'4: , 130 lbs. It is comfortable and not too bulky. THe hood is a bonus, especially when raining.

Outdoor Research makes high quality products. This jacket has nice details like an interior pocket as well as outside pockets, and a length that covers one's back-side without being too long. I purchased it in brown, and am not sure about the color, but I love the jacket. It has a more slim fit, which allows for ease of arm movement, and makes it more technical in design instead of "casual." (I'm 5'7", 140# and size M fit fine)

I bought this for an everyday coat for Michigan weather, it has a really nice cut that is flattering. Not bulky at all and surprisingly warm despite the thinner appearance. The hood is deep enough too for windy days.
The sizing seems to be accurate, I bought a small for a 5'6" 125 athletic build - still room for a layer.

Perfect fit. I purchased it for a trip to New York. The length covers the backside and legs. The color is just right for me.

Great long lightweight and warm. My only disappointment is the silky lining. I wear a light fleece shirt underneath for insulation from the chilly lining. The combo is perfect. Have walked a mile and a half to work at 12° and been warm.

Just got this jacket and stepped out in 19 degree weather this morning and I felt cold. I was hoping with the 650 down rating I'd be protected. Although it was also windy and the wind did not cut through the jacket! I will have to layer with this parka. Bummer, cute style and fits true to size (I am a medium and I ordered one size up and it almost seems too big!). The other reviews were right about this jacket being "thin". I don't like looking like a walking puffy monster, however a little more "puff" may make this jacket a little warmer for those cold temps!

On the lighter side but I love that it is packable and waterproof. Need to layer to get the warmth right but that makes it more customizable. The zipper takes some getting used to, make sure you have the male part all the way down before you zip or it will be difficult to release. I've seen 2 small feathers from the down in 2 weeks of wearing it, even shoveling and hiking in it. I'd say that's not an issue. I have the grey in a medium, I'm 5'4" and 130lbs. This fits my athletic shoulders and size 6-8 hips perfectly with room too move. A little extra room in the arms, but that's good for layers. Fabric seems to be a good quality and the hood is a useful size.
