Just got this. It appears, as most of the Platypus line, to be very well made. Unfortunately the chest strap just barely fits across my chest and the waist is at it's extreme length with only a T-shirt on. Wearing anything heavier it simply wouldn't work. I'm a man, 5'8" 157 lbs with a 42" chest and 32" waist. Just had to return it and look for something else.

when the water Reservoir is filled i can not get my bike tools, spare tire air pump in the bag. there is no room for a 2nd layer even a long underwear top. the magnet on the water tube is to week and falls off.

overall this is a well made product. I like the sliding chest strap, the magnet on the hose works really well.
The waist strap is MUCH too short, but it is easy to hide inside the pack.

great, wish it was easier to open and close to add water.. its a little difficult if youre trying to do it in a hurry or while walking. i took the bag to a music festival and it was a bit of a pain at the water filling stations. the pack itself is very tight and adjustable w/ movable chest strap. and you can fit quite a bit without it being bulky or heavy. i love the stretch pocket for shoving things you often need in. i also loved that the inside pocket for a camera or money was zipped. the valve was okay, my mouth was sore after 4 days due to how hard you have to bite down. camelbak's bite valve doesn't seem so difficult. maybe this is to prevent leaks, however usually if im doing something with a hydration pack on, i dont notice tiny drops out of the valve. camelback also has an easier opening as well as easier to hang to dry in my opinion... However, i like the design and streamline look. i also love the shape and how the weight is higher on the back, you can hardly feel it when its full as well as packed with cameras, phones, and food. i have lower back issues and my back didnt hurt AT ALL after walking around all day with this thing full. generally that is not the case. happy customer

I received the bag and upon initial inspection I was impressed with the build quality and features of this bag. Unfortunately when I tried it on I quickly realized that this bag did not fit me. I'm 6'2" and 235# and the waist strap was not long enough to go around my waist (size 36). Also the strap was not removeable, so unfortunately I had to return the item. Great pack, but it just wasn't for me.
