This is a snug little hat that says what it does. The small to medium fit my head perfectly. Doesn't creep up when I move around either. Love this hat because it is great alone or underneath a hood.

This fits well under a hood, so it keeps me doubly warm. the fit is a little tight, I would order a larger size, but I'm rather liking the snug fit.

I used to have one of these and I kept it in a pocket of my ski parka for those times when it is way colder or windier than expected out there. Even though it is quite thin it makes an amazing amount of difference. I eventually lost it and was excited to find another on sale here at STP.

Can't comment on how it performs in windy situations, but it's a good fleece hat, fits snug. The ear flaps are a nice feature, and it's keeping me warm on cold hikes.

Great! It covers my ears which is what I needed.

I typically measure as a large for hat size, but sometimes need to size up to an XL. My circumference measurement is ~23". The L/XL for this item fits very well for me. It is tight enough to stay on in some hard wind and also covers my ears.
The weight is ~2.7 oz in the L/XL size. It seems to have two layers of fleece and is quite warm.

I have had a few OR hats similar to this & they are warm & pocketable but after years of washing & wearing they stop hugging my head as well. So I get another new one. This model appealed to me because it is thicker to better combat this very cold winter including the coldest month ever in Connecticut. My hat size is usually 7 1/2" to 7 5/8", so I got the L/XL. This hat was short of material in length around the ears & wouldn't cover properly even after constant tugging. It would have driven me nuts, so I returned it. This hat is a step backwards.

I've worn this hat for a few days now in the latest round of very cold weather here in the mid-Atlantic. The hat is warm and very comfortable due to the fleece construction. I like the coverage I get on my forehead and ears. The hat fits me snugly (hat size 7 1/2), and its low profile fits well under a hood. I don't think it can be rolled up easily to vent for temp changes, as can be done with a watch cap.

seemed like it would be a warm hat, however, the ear flaps weren't long enough to keep ears covered. Good quality.

Haven't tried ours in the cold yet, but they fit well and look warm, and cover the ears.
