I bought this as a light rain jacket, so it is exactly as described. I haven't won it in the rain, but it IS a Simms . . .

I had an old Marmot Precip jacket that I kept in the car for that sudden downpour. it finally delaminated. Simms makes well known and quality products. This is 30 inches in length and I bought it to sometimes go over a suit coat and it works perfeclty. it is light weight and keeps me dry without being clammy. this is a great jacket and compares well against the more expensive ones. Definitely recommend it. I am 6 feet and 190 lbs and the extra large fits just right.

I have only had out in light rain so far, so haven't really run through the paces, but is a comfortable, well constructed rain jacket. I am between a large and xl and went with xl. Was the right choice fit wise in the shoulders. The bottom is a bit long, as rain jackets usually are, but can be cinched if you want to wear shorter. Overall pleased so far.

Very nice Simms rain jacket- arms are a bit snug for casting, order a size up if you are well muscled and want to accommodate layers.

Purchased this rain coat last year~
Keep it in my boat and has come in handy a dozen times. Roomy enough to swing streamers, great adjustable hood keeping my back dry and on the river all day~
Perfect Simms raincoat I would highly recommend for the price!
    Tight Lines!

A great light weight rain jacket. I found that each of Simms' products are made with quality materials. Great fishing jacket for when the weather turns.

Great quality and looks sharp. Only caveat is I feel it fits a little big. I wear M in most of Simms clothing (t-shirts, waders, etc.), but I think their jackets always fit a little large. For a lightweight rainshell, I don't envision myself wearing too many layers underneath, so I don't all the extra room unless I want it to look like a wing suit.

    5'8", 150lbs. Small fits perfectly.

Perfect rain coat. Finally found a replacement for my 25 year old Helly Hansen rain coat. Used it tonight in a torrential downpour at my sons football practice, and last week wore it out at buoy 10 while catching Chinook at the mouth of the Columbia during one heck of a storm. Stayed dry as can be & it kept the wind at bay. Plenty of adjustments for a perfect fit. Very light weight, which is actually a plus as layering is a must. When it can be raining and 75.
