Verified Buyer Reviewed by LonnieMoo from San Francisco on Sunday, February 12, 2017husband liked it but I had bought him 2 other Neve sweaters that he liked better and were very similar from STP. fits true to size
Reviewed by Davey Crockett from Tennessee on Monday, November 24, 2014Other reviewers' are spot-on. This simply does not fit like Neve. Typically the size L fits my frame very well. Trim at the end of the sleeves, trim at the midriff, and trim with masculine-Euro form at the shoulders. Simply not the case with this Neve Nolan Sweater.
The shoulders fit well like a typical Neve, but as for the rest...
- Very loose cuffs with enough room to fit four wrists
- Very loose sleeves which are about 3-4 inches longer than normal, and wide enough for 2-3 arms
- The midriff is way too long and way too wide at the midriff with no shape, feeling frumpy
- The overall length is too long
Generally love this brand. Someone at Neve really messed up this time. Going back.
Reviewed by RFGinDenver from Denver on Tuesday, May 20, 2014This is a really well made sweater, but has such an odd fit. I am always between a M & L. The L fit like a tent. The M was not much better. The sleeves were baggy and long. The body was baggy and long. I tried a S, and it fit me much, much better in the body, but was a hair short at that point. They all had to go back. This will be a tough one to fit for most as I'm 5'11'', 185 lbs, 42 in chest.
Reviewed by COShiker from Colorado on Tuesday, May 20, 2014Fits very large, and rather baggy--not per Neve's usual fit. Nice material, and I like the cover to the zipper, but the fit is so poor it is going back. Even if you ordered one size down it is still going to be a baggy sweater
Reviewed by biscuitwheels from OHIO on Monday, May 19, 2014This is a beautiful sweater in the Navy but it seems to run a size larger and the wrists of the sleeves are really big. I can't imagine a man wanting flared sleeves on a sweater. Odd.
Reviewed by RFGinDenver from Denver on Friday, May 9, 2014I am typically between a M and L in most sweaters (185 lbs, 5'11'', broad). The L fit me like a tent and the M was not much better. The sleeves ran down to my knuckles, the bottom (which is not tightly banded) ran very long as well. The shoulders were even slightly large in the M. The sweater is very nice and well made. Would be a great 3 season sweater so I am re-ordering in a S to see if that will solve the sizing issues.
