I was looking for a winter hiking boot for active day hikes in the Northeast, lighter than my heavy mountaineering boots and more supportive than my flexy pac boots. I have high arches, broader forefoot and narrower heel, and found many boots have too straight a last for a good fit. These advertise an "active last" which was perfect for me. I have only been out a few times so far, but they have put the spring in my step and appear to be well made. They have lace rings for gaiters, and rubber heel supports to secure crampons/straps. I purchased a 10.5 and 11 (I wear a 10M shoe) - the 10.5 fit exactly, but I kept the 11 to accomodate wool socks and liners. Very pleased.

Bought these for my son . They were a replacement for timberland boots that fell apart. He likes these a lot better than timberland because he said they feel better and they're warm and comfortable . Just by looking at these you can tell that there was a lot of quality workmanship involved in these Italian made boots. Five stars .

I have difficulty finding boots that don't feel heavy on my feet. I fell in love with these as soon as I put them on. I wore them less than one season before they started to seep water around the seam where sole meets upper. I still wear them in Spring and Fall when weather conditions are dry. But being a "snow boot" they should stay waterproof to allow year round use!!

Light and easy to move in . I bought these to have a boot that I can work inside and out without changing in and out of my heavy gear . Comfortable and dry . Good price .

I work in a unheated warehouse so I needed a good comfortable pair of hikers to keep the cold out. order a 1/2 size up, maybe even 1.
These boots are very toasty. I wear just a pair of cotton socks and can go 10 - 12 hours in them. Super comfort that did not take long to break in.
Overall for the price, these boots were exactly what I was looking for.
