While I really like this shirt, it is not a midweight shirt. It's very thin. You can easily see through it. It will be appropriate for fall and spring, but you're going to want something heavier for winter.
That said, it fits comfortably and does provide some warmth. It also does wick moisture very well. I'll wear it a lot, it's a great shirt. I'll just wear it in the fall and spring :-)

I bought two of these tops for my wife. She reports that the fit (for the XS) is good and the material is comfortable.

A little thinner and snugger fitting than I had anticipated.

I can't believe a base layer top could make me so happy, but here we are. This is my new favorite article of clothing. It arrived just before the cold snap and I wore it for three days straight--including to sleep in. It was perfect. It kept me the perfect temperature at all times--I never got overheated or felt chilly whether i was inside or outside. The fit was exactly what I wanted, a crew neck that wasn't too high. It layers well, the material is soft and comfy, no annoying/scratchy seams or tags, and get this--after three days it looked and smelled perfectly fresh! And it's made in the USA. I could not be happier with this top.

I am 5'5" tall. I have long arms, a big rib cage (boy, am I honest;) and I'm a 38 B. so, I thought X Large would do the trick. The material is stretchy enough...and nice and thin and keeps you warm. The arms are nice and long. the weird thing is that the shoulders are kind of boxy, yet the rib, chest and tummy area seem snug? The length is good hits just past the hips. Good thing I went with the X Large from the other reviews....and size chart and material description. Usually I wear a medium in women's in thermals as long as they are "good" thermals, thick, stretchy, and well made. but, for an X Large I find it tight from my armpits to the bottom of my ribs.....and I'm far from fat....so, it's kind of big at the shoulders and snug in the middle? but, I do like it. I have worn it with a fun loose T over it for layering.....I would have liked it better stretchier....but, I'm keeping it.

The material is scratchy, very short arm length (granted I have very long arms)

I'm 5'8", pear shaped, 200 lbs. The XL fit me perfectly. Long enough in the torso and arms. I would not call this midweight, it is a little sheer. However, it is warm. comfortable and breathes well. Bought a second one.

More lightweight than midweight, but this will do as a base layer under tops for added warmth.
