Closeouts. The understated refinement of a thick cable knit like that of Peregrine's Aran Cable-Knit sweater goes a long way in chilly winter. Knit in England of luxurious pure new merino wool.

I love this sweater. It's warm and not itchy at all. My only small complaint is that I need to block it again after I wash it each time or the sleeves and torso get a little shorter than I'd like. It's so attractive and cozy, though, that the extra effort is worth it. And because it's wool, it doesn't need to be washed as often as other fabrics.

...because this sweater keeps a body warm. Giving it 4 stars because of the neck line that comes to an awkward spot on neck...needs to be an inch lower. Regardless, with STP prices, the sweater is a keeper.

Hooray! The image in the photo worked great for this tall girl (e.g., it's long enough in the body and sleeves)! I'm so happy with the 'humbug' appearance, which as I understand it, refers to the name of the variegated yarn... and not Mr. Scrooge's commentary on the holidays. Thanks, STP!

Cute. Warm. Fits great. Bought in 3 colors. Chicago winters get into the -20's F in January. These will be great then. I am allergic to nylon and rayon, so I was really happy to find 100% wool sweaters.

This sweater fits nicely, is excellent quality, and I expect it to last many years. I needed a warm sweater but did not want to be a made-in-China or otherwise poor quality item. The XS was perfect. I am 5'5", 112 lbs.

I ordered both the pink and gray colors in size XS since I wasn't sure which I wanted. The pink is a heathered mix while the gray is a flat color. The gray was unflattering with my pale skin tone so I kept the pink, which also fits me much better. The gray XS was considerably larger, with a much looser weave. Didn't seem as well made because of that, whereas the pink is very well made and quite lovely. I'll probably dry clean it so as not to risk shrinkage. I give the pink 5 stars and the gray 3, so averaged at 4.

This sweater is soft and cozy, but it definitely runs on the bigger size. I am 5'5 and usually wear a 4, and the small is pretty roomy. I think it still within the limits of a bigger fit, instead of actually just being too big, but if you like sweaters to be more snug you should probably order a size down.

The weave is not super tight--you can poke your fingers through the cable and see through the sweater if you stretch it a bit. This isn't a bad thing, just something to be aware of.

I got the mole grey and feel the color was true. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase!
