These are a great base layer. Not scratchy and are nice and warm. I did dock a star because of sizing - I ordered my normal size and these bunch up when I put a pair of jeans over them. Seem to run a bit large and stretch out a bit.

I was skeptical about the no-itch wool, but these are truly no itch! I am 5'6" and I ordered a medium, they were a little snug in the thigh but loosened quickly into a comfortable fit.

This bottom base layer is form fitting. While it will be good to wear under pants that aren't roomy, I'll need to take care that they never slip into the dryer. I am a 6/8 with fairly thin legs. Haven't worn full day so they may stretch out a bit.

These leggings rock my world. I plan to buy more in a variety of colors.
I wore these under shorts during a recent trip Alaska, and they performed better than I could have ever dreamed. I was backpacking in the back county and had to cross a lot of braids and glacial streams. These held heat and dried incredibly quickly. And when the sun came out, they were totally breathable. The power of wool!
I admittedly wore them a few days in a row.
I'm size 6-8 and the small fits perfect.

I bought these to replace a pair of worn-out Smartwool midweight bottoms that I wear as pajamas. They're okay. Good quality, but nothing spectacular so I'm glad I got a good price. I'm 4 foot 11 and a size 8. I ordered the large, but could have gotten the medium and been happy. Would definitely recommend the medium if I was going to wear them as a base layer. They have a thicker and smoother feel than the Smartwool, but the same warmth. Some crotch pilling after the first wash and wear.

Warm, comfortable. Fits well under my jeans too, or to wear as is lounging around the house.

I'm 5'3 and 114 pounds. Got an S, which was the smallest available at the point of purchase. It fits loosely below the thighs, is comfortable next to skin, but may bunch up when worn under tight pants.

When I read reviews, I always look at where the person writing the review lives. A person writing a review from S. California that thinks it's "warm and cozy" does not have the winter as a person that lives in Northern Minnesota "warm and cozy". With that being said, this base layer underneath a pair of Carhartt insulated Bibs really is warm and cozy at from 30* above to -10* below zero temps. They do not sweat like other brands, the waist band is at the right height and soft. The lengh/inseam is just right. As far as washing, they do not pill and they do not itch. Do not waste your time with immitations, not worth it.

True to size, very snugg and I can tell they will keep me warm! I haven't had the chance to use them yet, as it hasn't gone below 60 here, but I know I will enjoy these on my next thru hike!
