Reviewed by Tara from Alaska on Saturday, March 11, 2017As some people say, the fit of these may not seem right, but they are still quite comfortable. They are a bit snug in the thighs, but they are stretchy, so not at all uncomfortable. The waist is a bit bigger than I need, but there is elastic in it so it doesn't gape. I generally wear a size 12 and I bought the 42. Wild berry color is amazing! I wore them with a pair of leggings underneath on a winter hike and they performed great. I'm 5'10" and appreciated the length -- just about perfect for me.

Reviewed by Dh mom from Maryland on Monday, April 20, 2015I'm 5 feet 130 pounds. The pants were long, but every pair of pants I buy is too long and I always have to shorten them. These are light weight so not great in winter, unless you were long underwear and that makes them perfect. They shed water nicely, not as well as the Arcteryx gamma, but pretty well, for a lot less money. The fit is nice not baggy at all, the legs are pretty straight down and they taper from the knee down and the cuff fits well over hiking boots or shoes. Several well placed pockets make carrying cell phone, snacks, doggie bags etc comfortable. They come up above my belly button, but don't look dorky. I find the fit very pleasing and flattering. I ordered another pair before they run out. Oh they dry fairly fast too. I've also used they for trail bike riding with bike shorts underneath and I like that arrangement better than many bike specific pants.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by cj the perfectionist from NWMT on Friday, February 20, 2015loved the look! To tight in upper thigh for me! Rise to low, i'm 57 really don't want belly or back exposed. A belt helped, but I really hate belts! I liked the Lowe Alpine Stormforce pant for women fit better for me!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Roz from Colorado on Tuesday, December 30, 2014These seemed to be well made pants, but were too big in the waist for me. My husband liked them also, but were also too big in the waist for him. I am 5'8" 130lb and ordered a size 12.

too slim fitting for my tastes. I like more roomy.
And a bit high waisted for my likes.
