Verified Buyer Reviewed by happy feet from brunswick ohio on Monday, March 23, 2015I bought an xl since that is what I like using in jackets. It has long sleeves, which I don't mind and it has velcro fasteners to get the sleeve tight on your wrist. But through the shoulders it was really large. So I ordered a L. This one fits better, but its higher up on my behind. I missed the minus degree weather to give it a spin, but it was warm at 20 degrees.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bp from Atlanta on Friday, February 27, 2015great jacket overall but runs big... I am always a size medium but this medium was much too large for me so it was exchanged for a size small.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lucy from NB, Canada on Saturday, December 27, 2014I love this jacket, light weight and warm. I love the color, dark steel and it was a great price! I ordered a large, which is not my usual size, but the size guide suggested that would fit me. I had to send it back and get the medium, which is my usual size. (I am a small/medium) There is enough room that I can fit my thin hoodie under the jacket for added warmth, if I am going to stay outside longer that just walking to my car. I would recommend this jacket.
Reviewed by Dee in LA from Pasadena,California on Saturday, December 20, 2014I bought this jacket for a trip to Europe. I've seen the Jack Wolfskin brand for sale in the UK. I thought the STP price was high but acceptable, and still much better than on any other website, especially ones in the UK. I used this jacket in the cold (for me) and wet weather in the UK and on the continent of Europe. It did really well to keep me warm and dry, although I was only in a light/medium rain and not a downpour. I particularly like the hood and its adjustability. The length is nice - to the bottom of my bum - but I'm only 5 foot 4. The arms of the jacket are really long - they cover my hands if I don't cinch them at the wrist - but I like that - no need for gloves! I would give it 5 stars except that the zipper is a bit fidgety - I have to play with it a bit to get it together. Glad it's two-way, but I think the zipper and pull could have been a bit thicker and sturdier. Also, the sizing seems odd - I ordered an XL for my size 12 or 14 body. The label reads the XL is a UK size 18/20. That was a bit of a shock! The XL does seem generous on my body, but I guess it's sized for layering underneath. I'm happy with this purchase, to get a brand I've had my eyes on for years, at a price I could afford.
