Reviewed by Idahoan from Idaho on Tuesday, April 5, 2016I ended up returning this jacket. As far as big puffy down coats go, this one is particularly heavy. I know it would be really warm, but it just seemed bulky to me. The neck guard also rubbed my chin the wrong way.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Tetyana from De on Monday, September 21, 2015Very nice woman jacket! It is warm and very comfortable! The color is not too bright. Good quality.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Lynn from nyc on Sunday, August 30, 2015I got the medium in this jacket. Well made at first and only look.
The shoulders fit perfectly, but the body of the jackets was too loose and boxy looking. Returned.
For reference 5'4, 120 lbs with shoulders admittedly on the broad side.
If my shoulders had been narrower, a size small might have been a keeper.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mary from Minneapolis on Thursday, April 9, 2015I love this jacket! I live in MN and it can get mighty cold around here. I haven't used it in the dead of winter just yet, but I suspect it will hold up just fine. I used it today during a sleet storm and I was so pleased by how well it repelled the water, and I was super warm in 35 degrees fahrenheit!! I am 5'6" 139lbs and got the medium, which is a bit more roomy than the small (this was a bit too tight for me in the upper chest and arms, so would not recommend that size if you're planning on layering). Love the hood, the zipped and cozy pockets, and the liners on the sleeves. Everything's comfy. The teal and pink is bright and flattering. Very happy!

I wish I would have ordered a size larger, because it is fitted it feels to tight for me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by A Jo in Mt from Montana on Monday, December 22, 2014I wear this to train horses at an indoor barn in Montana. I love this jacket. The outer shell repels dirt, it provides lightweight warmth and is very comfortable to work in.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jane fit at 71! from Wisconsin on Monday, December 22, 2014The color is not as flashy as the photo but since I intend to use it for bird watching, it is perfect. And I do like the teal color. It appears to be very warm although I haven't had a chance to check that aspect out. I'm 5'2 132#'s and ordered large. I don't like anything tight so it's perfect for me. The sleeves are a tad long but I plan to pull the cuff down to keep my hands warm and the Velcro tabs can be tightened to keep the cuff up if you want. Never had Jack Wolfskin product before but I am now a fan. STP has always provided us with great merchandise and service.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Deb from California on Thursday, December 18, 2014This is a great jacket. It's warm, windproof, and rain resistant. I like the fleece lined upper portion of the jacket along with the wrist cuffs to block out extra wind. I found that the jacket runs a little big, but that just makes it good for layering. However, do I wish that the hood was detachable.
I had never heard of the Jack Wolfskin brand, but I found out that it is very popular in Germany. There aren't very many english reviews on Jack Wolfskin products, but if you're willing to use an online translator, there are a lot of good reviews in German.
