I purchased size 4-6, and they run a little big. Quite stiff initially (even after several washings), but they are GREAT in the field. I have to wear a belt but I've already worn them 7 times and have had them for a week and 1/2.

Somehow I never knew there were Carhartt work pants for women - I guess because I've never seen them in stores. I ordered these at a fantastic price and am SO STOKED! They fit so well and look and feel so much better than the men's versions I'd been making do with for years. They were marked as 2nds, and I have yet to figure out why, they seem to be made just like they should be.

Great jeans so far, can be used for construction though they are probably more than you need for everyday use. I'm using them in a metal shop. Stiff, sturdy. The only thing is, because of the stiffness the pockets are a bit hard to use, but that should loosen up in some time.

I ordered a size up for winter wear with base layer. They are slightly bulky but not terrible.

I am very pleased with these. They fit nicely and I see nothing wrong with them.
I just wonder how long it's going to take to get them broken in, right now it feels like wearing cardboard pants. LOL.

I ordered a 6 at first because that's what I've ordered in Carhartts before but a 4 ended up fitting me. I have larger hips and a smaller waist so, I have to wear a belt with them. The extra layer of fabric on the front is a must, I do trail and chainsaw work. These have a thicker fabric than my last pair, I'm hoping these ones last longer.

took everyone's advice and bought a size 2 even though I am more like a 6 or 8. Fit great. I'm 5'5' about 128 if that helps. They are nice and thick and 8 use them for cutting trees and stacking wood and whatever else that needs rougher handling.

I have been trying to buy up all the ladies carhartt's since they discontinued a lot of the women's line. These are great pants, the waist size was just too big for me.

Pay attention to the relaxed fit. I have the same jeans in the same size, but found out too late that my old ones are dungaree fit. These pants absolutely swam on me. They are very large. Otherwise, the style and wearability are great!

These Carhartts are definitely sturdy and durable for any physical work but the sizing is way off. I ordered a size 2 (the smallest size) although I'm usually a 4 after reading previous comments but they were still big on me. Thankfully I was able to keep them up with a belt and the leg was big enough to go over my Muck boots. If you're working in cold weather, I'd suggest wearing a baselayer underneath so you're legs don't get cold. But overall, not bad.
