Love these boots. Run slightly large, ordered my usual size 10 and have room for heavy socks so they are perfect for me. They keep my feet warm and dry and have adequate support.

First off, I love the boots, they really do keep feet warm. I only gave it 4 stars, instead of 5 due to the orange tabs holding the laces. One broke after the first week. I sewed it back into place and then used a fabric superglue to keep it secure. I bought another pair on ebay that had metal lace holders, no problems. However the ebay boots do not hold up to the Kamik boots.
My opinion, make the Encore boots with metal lace holders and problem solved.

From WIsconsin and the weather gets really cold at times! Found you must wear good socks other wise your feet sweat and then you will feel cold. So good sweat reducing socks are highly recommended on below zero days. Other wise on average 20 degree to 0 light socks works well. I love the quality of these boots and would order from Sierra again as they came super fast - no hassle. But also love the Kamik Brand.

I have wide feet and the fit was right on for me.

Warm and light weight, but too tall and immobile. I felt like I'd get sick of walking in them too fast. Went back.

I love these boots! They are comfy and warm down to 10 degrees F -- and I have cold feet. However. . . I was so excited to wear them that the first time I put them on, I yarned on the laces to snug them up and immediately tore out an eyelette. Dang! Treat them gingerly and snug them up step by step

love these. feel great, i am a 7.5 and narrow, so got 7 as instructed. will have to wear THIN socks. they r perfect without socks. inside very soft, so far no need for socks. i have laced and tied loosley so can slip on but still stay on for quick rip outside.
    would defently buy again.

So, as I read the reviews before purchasing these boots, I could tell there was a sizing dilemma.

The comments ranged from "size up" to "true-to-size" to "size down." Having received them, I've found the answer: It depends on your foot width. I generally wear a size 8M. I often size 1/2 to 1 full size up when buying sneakers, boots or shoes I just HAVE to have but can't find in an 8M. I had to have these boots. The closest available size was 8M, so I ordered them. After putting them on, though, I could tell that my toes had plenty of room to move around. The problem was that the foot bed and upper portion of the boot were narrow. So, if you generally wear an 8M? See if an 8W is available - or size up a little. If you have narrow feet and legs? I suggest ordering your regular size. I have to return these, which is too bad.

They're as pictured and seem like they'd be great for shoveling snow or just kickin' it around town in winter.
