Took these out camping and they held up very well under the weight of 2 "heavyweights" that are 6'3" and 6'6" tall. I was asked were I got them and they couldn't believe the deal I got them for!

I was very impressed with this camp chair. It is very well built and IMO is much better than some large outdoor store brands that I have sat in. It is a little heavy but is well built...I think this chair will last for years instead of a season or two...

The chair seems to be pretty well made. I'm 6'2" 275 lb's and the chair seems to be very sturdy and comfortable. I use the chair almost daily so it will be interesting to see how it holds up a month for 2 from now. I really don't see any potential problems. The fabric is seems to be good quality and some cushioning thickness to it. The bag that carries it is also very well made, probably the best carry bag I have seen for a chair. It is a little heavy a camping chair, but you got the quality construction so I'm not complaining

A reputable brand, better constructed than many lower-end camping chairs. Cheaper grade chairs usually fall apart pretty quickly or tend to become somewhat rickety with use. This model is heavy duty, seems to be pretty durable. Our son is 6' 4" and needed a chair that would hold him and a child while keeping peace of mind about collapse. Most lower-end chairs have weigh limits around 178 pounds. We didn't need the 500 pound weight limit, but heavy duty looks pretty safe to us. It weighs about 10.5 pounds. I wouldn't want to try to pack this chair, however it would be great for camping.

Excellent quality, heavy duty, easy to set up. A little heavy for carrying any distance.

Well constructed for 500 lb. capacity. Very comfortable design.
Look forward to Alpine constructing a 500-lb capacity chair with lighter weight alloy metals.

My husband is 6'2 and no one would describe him as tiny-the chair is perfect. I however am 5'4" and when I sit on it I look like a little kid-my feet don't come anywhere close to the floor!

The positives: padded seat, sturdy/well made. The negatives: heavy to carry, difficult to fold up. These are really big, would be good for larger people.

We are used to having cheaper-end camping chairs. They usually fall apart pretty quickly. This one is heavy, seems to have thick, durable fabric, and is oversized and comfortable. We are looking forward to using it for the Fourth of July fireworks this weekend! We also do a lot of camping so this will be used a lot.
