Verified Buyer Reviewed by Great sandals-and nice looking from Georgia on Thursday, March 9, 2017I'm a 10 really wide and the 10D fit great so yes they run big and wide.
They are still new so I'm hoping the leather softens a bit for walking.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by the grunt from tucson az on Monday, February 13, 2017howdy to me the boots run large and wide. i had to return pair for a smaller size. liked the sole! leather lined for hot weather ware. but it needs an insole so the foot does not move around. a boot when you can not use a work or hiking boot, like when you go out with sweetly, mean my loving wife. but most you beat the price!! ha
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laura from Oregon on Wednesday, December 14, 2016My husband loves these boots. They are true to fit and well made. Make sure in Scotch Guard them if you are wearing them in wet weather. Very happy with our purchase

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Occasional Reviewer from Eastern USA on Wednesday, October 26, 2016I often wore Clarks back in the day (UK made, so we're talking a long time ago). Recently, as the brand has started to reconnect with its heritage, I've tried a few new versions of the old standbys. My experiences were positive at the outset – I like my new Wallabees, and I like the new low-top version of the desert boot. This style, however, was a disappointment. It has the desert boot profile, but the leather is thin and a bit plasticky-feeling; and the lining is some kind of odd synthetic plush, almost like flocking. Overall, the effect is cheap and sad. I sent 'em back, and was grateful, as always, for Sierra's terrific return policy. So I'm now two for three with the newer Clarks, and I'm not sure I want to risk worsening that average by trying again. Sure wish the brand would try a higher-end "artisan" line reviving old styles with top-quality materials!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by JAmes from Iowa on Friday, October 7, 2016These look great and fit true to size (I'm a 15). If you have a small ankle, it may be challenging to get these tied tightly. Awesome deal, but now you'll probably need to go buy a tan belt.

-sole is hard, uncomfortable, not breaking in
-laces put pressure on top of foot, painful
I would have returned them if the price was higher
