This is very special because it's my first time using trekking poles. I hiked in Rancho Palos Verdes and I needed trekking poles and now I am ready to use these poles for other hiking adventures.

The cork grip provide a non-slip grip with minimum friction when working up a good sweat and the spring loading does reduce the shock when planting the poles on an uphill grade. I am very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and re-assured with a 3 year "no questions" guarantee. I highly recommend them!

Love the cork grips, so comfortable to use. Makes my walks easier and longer. Comes with the baskets and rubber tips too which is good for sidewalks or on the trail. Lightweight and sturdy.

I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but expect that they will work really well.

I like these poles very much. They are strong and sturdy while being lightweight. It is very easy to adjust the length of the poles. It is a little more difficult to adjust the lengths of the straps. I have used trekking poles plenty of times and know how the length of the straps should be so the straps support your weight as you push down to walk past the pole. Well, these straps are hard to get short enough for your hand to hit the right place on the hand grip. Like in the picture they want to hang down past the bottom edge of the hand grip which is uncomfortable. The other problem with these poles is the baskets are very difficult to change. They are so tight we needed pliers and a towel to work them off, which scratched the bast of the poles. Overall a good pole, but not very easy to adjust the straps or baskets/

Haven't actually used these yet, but seem well made, cork handles are comfortable, and are definitely an upgrade to my old poles (non-impact absorbing). Great price if they hold up, good way to get into trekking without a large investment.

The originals did not come with baskets .One pole got stuck in the mud because of this and the anti shock got stuck . I loved the poles until this time .I am returning.Making sure they send the new poles with baskets on each pole.
