Verified Buyer Reviewed by Max the Curmudgeon from Colorado on Wednesday, June 3, 2015These Blackstones look great but I think I'll trade out the leather laces. They are hard to tie and untie as you have to adjust at each hole. The sole pad may need a little buildup in the arch for my flatter feet. Per the Fit Guide I ordered size 44. Thought I was a 43 and that size would not have fit. Would prefer that the toe was a little wider and rounder. Above the heel reinforcement the suede seems too pliable until laced up and tied. They look cool and ruff but in reality seem to be a little too precious. Not an all day shoe. Glad I got them on sale. In retrospect the DM49 Suede Sport Chukka boot in Flag color may have been a better choice. I'm not really a sneaker wearer and am used to looking at the toes of my Keens. I'll just have to get used to these shoes.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Frederick outdoor man from New England on Monday, August 4, 2014Good for summer with lots of air because of small holes on all sides. Very good rubber soles for tracking. Room in front of toes. The only thing is the leather shoe laces are hard to pull tight and to unloose. The leather will not slide against the leather sneaker holes.
