I purchased the HI-tec Skamania Hiking Boots a half size larger then I typically would wear and they were still way to small.

Built to last! So comfortable with great support. Stylish too.

These boots are really nice but they ran out of a 9 when I ordered them. Other than that this brand is high quality for low price.

Another review stating, these boots run small. I bought a half size up and they fit perfect! Wore them to trek through the Upper Michigan woods on a waterfalls trip. Kept me sure footed on the cold, soggy grounds, and my feet stayed warm and dry! Love the lavender color ??

These shoes were true to size but overall too stiff for my liking and my hiking needs.

Did some light adirondack hikes right out of the box in these. Very comfortable (despite the expected stiffness ore-break-in. I rounded up in size for a good fit. These were an awesome bargain!

These would be great with an insole that had any arch support.
As sent, the foot bed was not supportive, and the whole boot was very roomy when laced as tight as possible. Having had HiTec as my long-time hiking boot, I was surprised at the lack foot support. I've exchanged for a different style from HiTec and await delivery.

The two things I like most about these boots are the price and the colors. That is not to say they are bad boots! They are such a great deal for the money!
If you plan on hiking the AT or maybe just backpacking over several days, I suggest spending a little more money for a slightly lighter, more comfortable fit. These are a bit clunky...but clunky for me translates into sturdy with good ankle support.
I use them for day hikes, taking the quads out, or even the motorcycle when I don't feel like walking around in riding boots when I reach my destination. There is a lot of room in the toe box, but on long down hill hikes I get pressure on my toenails that ranges from annoying to painful. The back of my left ankle tends to run for some reason after long hikes as well. Still, it's a great filler boot for when I don't want to put on my high, lightweight hunting boots or it's too warm to have my thinsulate boots on.

Daughter wears a full size 9, ordered a 10 and it was still too small. Unfortunately the 11 was out of stock in the cool tan/aqua combo.

Great boot. Fits absolutely true to size with a wide toe box. I was even able to get my special footbed in over the insole that came in the boot with plenty of room. That never happens. I always wear between and 8 1/2 and 9 and i ordered a 9. They are plenty roomy even with a slightly thicker sock.
