This is a wonderful, high quality fleece. I am 5'6" 120 lbs and I ordered an extra small which fits great. My only complaint about this jacket is that the sleeves are tight and so I can't wear a base layer with long sleeves underneath.

I bought the white (snow) jacket to find that the trim around the zipper and wrists is not the same shade of white. In fact, it has a yellow-tone compared to the rest of the jacket, giving those areas an old, yellowed appearance. I will be returning it for that reason. Otherwise the fit and the fabric are great. This is one of the softest fleece materials I have ever felt.

This fleece jacket is one of the best fleece jackets out there. First, the fleece itself is incredibly soft and stretchy. Second, the whole jacket weighs very little, feels like air on you. Third, while it is light, it is incredibly warm . Fourth, It is plush, and makes you feel great when you put it on. Fifth, Styling cute too. I own one in each color. Fit is true to size.

I went back and forth on this purchase while I was deciding to buy it, and then again when I was deciding if I should keep/return it. I have a couple different Mountain Hardwear jackets and I love the quality and comfort of them. This jacket (Monkista) is the same good quality, and it actually feels 'thicker' so it's even warmer than my other jackets. The color (snow) is pretty and versatile for my wardrobe. I wear a size small in the other jackets (I am 5'5 and 128lbs) and they fit well, with some room for layering underneath. I ordered a small in this and, while it fits, the shoulders fit really strangely and I don't think I'll be able to wear anything thicker than a long-sleeved shirt underneath. I don't have an odd body shape, and none of the other MH jackets have this issue. I decided on keeping the jacket because it's really nice looking and it's warm... I'm hoping it'll stretch out a bit in the shoulders and won't give me any more trouble (right now, I have to be careful when putting my arms in the sleeves and have to grab the armpit area to pull so I don't tear anything). If I were to purchase this again, I may try a size up...I was just afraid of losing the flattering silhouette and wishing I'd kept the small.

This is a super comfortable and cozy jacket. I'm 5'11", average/slender build (160#) and ordered a large, which is my usual size. It fits like a glove -- perfectly -- meaning that I will not be able to put more than a thin base layer underneath it. I'm probably going to order an Xtra large so that I can use it as an outer layer over several base layers or a thicker base layer. This jacket is warm and ohhhh so very cozy and pleasantly warm.

This was the first Mountain Hardware Jacket I ever bought, so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as the fit and feel went….boy was I pleasantly surprised! It's a nicely fitted (but NOT too fitted) warm and comfortable jacket. I got the lighter brown color in an XS (which I normally take in these style jackets, and the fit was perfect. I can wear a vest over it without it being too bulky, and i can wear either a tank top or thin longer sleeve tee underneath for added warmth. The fleece feels expensive, not cheap, and it's not the bulky type either. I like that the length is a bit longer, over my hips, for a little more coverage in the cold….i also liked the zip up to really cover your neck, and I even could fold the neck over a bit for a different look…i will most likely wear it with a light vest just for a layered "look" which i like best….Great product, and even better when you get it on a sale!!
